The most popular location is known as the “Devil’s Swimming Pool” where during the months of September and December, visitors can swim as close as possible to the edge of the falls without falling over. Pretty cool isn’t it? Below are the brave and splendid photos of people who have visited the scariest pool.

  1. People in Yosemite do this too. They usually fall over and die, its considered super dangerous. Not sure how this is remotely safe in victoria falls. Those people with children in there should be locked up for negligence.

  2. Beautiful photos. It would be nice to know how it is possible for them to get so close to the edge without falling over, and why only during certain months.

  3. re: “negligence” – nah, if they wish to help us clean out the gene pool, please let them. I doubt there’s much danger here however, this isolated pool doesn’t seem to have enough force to lift people up and over. It’s just as easy to die in a variety of ways at a hotel pool.

  5. Though it is creepy and scary to swim near the edge… I think you can relax over there because you are near with the environment. Really cool place… 😀 Tow thumbs up for this place. 😀

  6. Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website before but after checking through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyways, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back frequently!
